Carbolux

Carbolux

Our Mefiag Carbolux system is uniquely engineered to separate waste products from industrial electrolytes and liquors (efflorescence). Our cost-effective and efficient design is the optimal solution for separation of carbonates, sulfates, and chlorides from a wide variety of industrial electrolytes and liquors, including zinc nickel, alkaline zinc, zinc ferrous, and acid or alkaline copper.

Without affecting production, the Carbolux continuously takes a small quantity of electrolyte from the bath and cools it down to a precisely defined temperature. The resultant crystals are then filtered off and the purified liquor is automatically returned to the bath. The collected waste material can then be easily disposed of in solid form.

Since its formation in 1953, Mefiag has developed into a world leader in the manufacture of superior filter solutions. Our advanced filtration and pump solutions stand out in metal finishing industries. Our products tolerate the most demanding settings. When the work is hard, Mefiag filters are up to the task.

Mefiag provides solutions that are the most versatile on the market. Beyond filtration solutions for electroplating, our cost-effective pumps and filters are used in a variety of companies worldwide.
