Our Mefiag Carbolux system is uniquely engineered to separates waste products from industrial electrolytes and liquors (efflorescence). Our cost-effective and efficient design is the optimal solution for separation of carbonates, sulfates, and chlorides from a wide variety of industrial electrolytes and liquors, including zinc nickel, alkaline zinc, zinc ferrous, and acid or alkaline copper.
Without affecting production, the Carbolux continuously takes a small quantity of electrolyte from the bath and cools it down to a precisely defined temperature. The resultant crystals are then filtered off and the purified liquor is automatically returned to the bath. The collected waste material can then be easily disposed of in solid form.
