Swirl Tube Centrifugal Separator

Swirl Tube Centrifugal Separator

A centrifugal separator uses centrifugal, gravitational, and inertial forces to separate solutions, gas mixtures, or other matter that can be physically parted. Centrifugal separation occurs when a mixture in the machine’s chamber is spun very quickly, and heavy materials typically settle differently than lighter ones.

String Wound Cotton Depth Filter Cartridges

String Wound Cotton Depth Filter Cartridges

Mefiag String Wound Cotton Depth Filter Cartridges are fabricated of natural or synthetic fiber wound over a perforated plastic or metal core. The precision winding pattern covers the entire depth of the filter tube with hundreds of funnel-shaped tunnels which become gradually finer from the outer surface to the center of the tube and trap progressively finer particles as the fluid travels to the center. This allows much greater solids retention capacity than is associated with surface filter media of the same dimensions.

Mefiag provides top-quality pumps and filter cartridges for use in several applications. When dealing with corrosive and hazardous chemicals in various industries, experts trust Mefiag filter cartridges to be reliable and efficient as soon as they are installed. Mefiag sets the industry standard when it comes to dependability.

Mefiag products have an excellent reputation. If you need to filter acids, alkalis, or any other hazardous liquids, our cartridge filters will handle the job. The precision winding patterns of our String Wound Cotton Depth Filter Cartridges trap progressively finer particles as the fluids transverse toward the center of the cartridge. Businesses all over the world trust Mefiag cartridge filters.

Substandard filters can leave contaminants behind. Do not rely on inferior cartridges for your filtration needs. Go with Mefiag and get peace of mind. Our expert engineering staff will be there to help you make the right selection. Let Mefiag become a valuable part of your business today.

Spares and Replacement Silencers

Spares and Replacement Silencers

With over 90 years of experience, we have thousands and thousands of silencers and filters in the field. For our Filter Silencers we have a regular after market for filters.

On the other hand, we have our silencers. These silencers hardly need replacement since there are no rotating parts. For these we get regular questions after 40 years if we can still replace or upgrade them.

To support our customers, we have a big range of silencers and filters in stock so that we can support our customers with quick turn around and supply of the required silencers. These silencers can be a 100% like for like requirements or our Application Engineering team can advise in upgrading the silencer to enhance acoustical or pressure drop performance.

We are setup to support you with 1 off silencers or orders of 100+ silencers. For our standard range of silencers all engineering is already completed and if not in stock the team can support you quickly to supply.

If you have any questions, please reach out to our dedicated aftermarket specialist to support you.

Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR)

Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction (SNCR)

SNCR systems provide a low-cost technique to reduce NOx emissions by 30%–75% for boilers, furnaces and kilns.

The SNCR process involves injecting a reagent into the flue gas in the appropriate temperature window. The reagent reacts with NOx to form harmless nitrogen and water. The design, arrangement, and location of the reagent injectors are critical to the performance of the SNCR system. Our advanced technology utilizes variable droplet size control and automatic tilting injectors based on furnace temperature, to enhance the NOx reduction performance.

SNCR System Package

Our SNCR systems include reagent storage tanks, pumping and flow control, reagent injection systems, and a boiler control interface. CCA also provides experienced field engineers for optimizing the SNCR in conjunction with the combustion system and overall operations.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Injection of urea or ammonia (mixed with air and water) into furnace section of field erected boilers
  • NOx reduction reaction temperature window: 1,650–2,100 °F
  • Optimum injector locations determined by CFD modeling of furnace and exhaust gas profiles
  • CCA developed unique tilting injector design to improve efficiency and reduce equipment costs
  • Low total cost of ownership
  • High-efficiency NOx removal, providing 30%–75% reduction
  • Energy efficient
  • Easy to retrofit with minimal downtime

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) – Peerless Emissions Control

Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) – Peerless Emissions Control

As flue gases are combusted in gas turbines and process furnaces, nitrogen oxide (NOx) is formed. Our Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system is a post-combustion NOx control technology, which injects an ammonia (NH3) based reagent into the flue stream to reduce NOx emissions by up to 95%.

Peerless Emissions Control patented Direct Injection SCR System is an innovative delivery, metering and injection system designed to reduce NOx and CO emissions using substantially less auxiliary load compared to a traditional SCR system.

Our Peerless Emissions Control brand TRIM-NOx® XL SCR injection module automatically injects a urea or ammonia-based reagent into the exhaust gas of a boiler, furnace, turbine or IC engine to reduce NOx emissions. Each module is engineered to optimize efficiency, performance and reliability while meeting stringent environmental standards.

Our SCR designs are engineered to optimize efficiency, performance and reliability, while meeting stringent energy standards. They are adaptable for a wide range of temperatures, exhaust flow conditions, and various types of fuel including:

  • Natural Gas
  • Refinery Gas
  • Coal
  • Biomass
  • Fuel Oils

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Eliminates the need for vaporization equipment such and fans and electric heaters
  • CCA specializes in safer alternatives to ammonia (e.g., urea-based SCR)
  • Efficient NOx and CO reduction of 95%+
  • Reduces capital and operational costs by as much as 60%
  • Less equipment means less maintenance costs and reduced downtime

Reverse Osmosis Treatment

Reverse Osmosis Treatment

In the reverse osmosis membrane, the natural osmosis effect must be reversed; this can be achieved by overcoming the osmotic pressure. To force the feed water to flow towards the permeate water stream, the feed water must be pressurized at an operating pressure more significant than the osmotic pressure. As a result, the feed water is separated into two streams, permeate water (Low Salinity) and Brine Stream (High Salinity).

The System is mainly consisting of pretreatment, chemical dosing stations, membrane modules and a high-pressure pump. Membrane working pressure depends on the feed water quality and can reach 60 bar in the case of seawater.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Due to the spiral wound membrane, the system becomes very compact and require minimal footprint
  • Salt rejection can reach 99.7%
  • Can be delivered in containers
  • RO is standardized equipment for standard requirements, customized packages also available to meet performance guarantees and specification
  • Modular design, easy to expand and maintain
  • Produces safe potable water according to WHO
