Nuclear Moisture Separator Reheater (MSR) Vessels

Nuclear Moisture Separator Reheater Vessels (MSR) are installed between the high pressure and the low pressure steam turbines at a nuclear power plant. This technology is utilized to remove water condensed from the process steam to maximize thermal efficiency of the low pressure turbine and minimizes erosion/corrosion of steam loop piping.

Our Peerless brand high-capacity vane system is designed to economically extend the life and increase the power output through new MSRs or by retrofitting older MSRs.

In addition, the complete change-out of the MSR vane system can be achieved in a single plant outage with no need for pressure boundary work or vessel recertification.
