CECO's TWIN-PAKŪ Filter was patented in 1989 by
Steven I Taub and Lazarus Thomaides
as a cost effective
means of de-bottlenecking existing filter systems without
expensive modifications to existing filter vessels.
The TWIN-PAKŪ provides up
to 60% more filter area than a conventional single candle of the same diameter
and height, and can be installed on the existing mounting flange. When
de-bottlenecking, the TWIN-PAKŪ can increase through-put or lower pressure drop,
or a combination of the two. For new installations, the TWIN-PAKŪ offers a compact
design saving plot area and head-room.
