CECO ENVIRONMENTAL RECEIVES SIGNIFICANT NEW ORDERS TOTALING
$3.8 MILLION

September 14, 2005 - CECO Environmental
Corp. (NASDAQ: CECE),
announced today that it has received $3.8 million in new orders spread
out through its diversified but integrated subsidiaries.
CECO subsidiary, CECO Abatement, received a $1.8 million order for regenerative
thermal oxidizers for an ethanol plant in the Midwest. The fabrication and
installation will be by CECO subsidiary Kirk and Blum.
Kirk and Blum also received a $1 million order for dust collection equipment
for a foundry in the Midwest.
A $650,000 order for baghouses for a cement facility in the Southeast was secured
by CECO subsidiary CECOaire. The equipment will be fabricated by Kirk and Blum.
Rick Blum, CECO President and COO, stated that: "Two smaller orders were
especially significant. A $220,000 order for a JetStar* cooling system for a
steel company in the Midwest was secured by CECO subsidiary Busch International
and the CECO patented JetStar* will be built by Kirk and Blum."
"Secondly, a $170,000 order for stack testing at an automotive assembly plant
in the Southeast was secured by CECO subsidiary kbd/Technic and is the largest
order of this type it has ever received."
Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and CEO of CECO Environmental stated that: "The order
