NEW YORK, September 14, 2005 - CECO Environmental Corp. (NASDAQ: CECE), announced today that it has received $3.8 million in new orders spread out through its diversified but integrated subsidiaries.

CECO subsidiary, CECO Abatement, received a $1.8 million order for regenerative thermal oxidizers for an ethanol plant in the Midwest. The fabrication and installation will be by CECO subsidiary Kirk and Blum.

Kirk and Blum also received a $1 million order for dust collection equipment for a foundry in the Midwest.
