CECO ENVIRONMENTAL ANNOUNCES TWO NEW ORDERS
TOTALING APPROXIMATELY $3.2 MILLION

ORDERS ARE FOR THE PETROCHEMICAL AND ETHANOL INDUSTRIES

CINCINNATI, OHIO, February 26, 2009 - CECO Environmental Corp. (NasdaqGM: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial ventilation systems, announced today that it has received two new contracts totaling approximately $3.2million.

Rick Blum, President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, “These orders were both secured by companies in our Equipment Group. The business comes from the petrochemical and ethanol industries.”

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, stated, “One of the projects is for a facility in Canada. The other is oxidation equipment for an ethanol producer. We continue to benefit from the diversity of our customer base.”
