CECO ENVIRONMENTAL ANNOUNCES $7 MILLION IN NEW ORDERS
   RUSSIAN PROJECT IS AMONG THE NEW BUSINESS
      BOOKINGS FOR THE YEAR SURPASS $109 MILLION

NEW YORK, July 10, 2007 - CECO Environmental Corp (NASDAQ: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial ventilation systems, announced today that it has secured eight new orders totaling approximately $7 million.

Rick Blum, President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, "These orders include two contracts for equipment for the power industry sold by our Effox subsidiary, rolling mill ventilation equipment for a facility in Russia (a project for which we had previously secured an engineering contract) sold by our Busch International subsidiary, two contracts for energy management work at automotive plants secured by our H.M. White subsidiary, a foundry ventilation project secured by our Kirk & Blum subsidiary, an oil mist collection project secured by our Kirk & Blum subsidiary, and automotive paint shop equipment for a new assembly plant being built in the Midwest secured by our Kirk & Blum subsidiary."

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CECO, stated, "As of today, our bookings for the year have surpassed $109 million. Last year we did not surpass that mark until September. As Rick's comments indicate, our business continues to come from a very diversified customer base."
