CECO ENVIRONMENTAL RECEIVES ORDERS TOTALING $3.1 MILLION

NEW YORK, July 11, 2006 - CECO Environmental Corp. (NASDAQ: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial ventilation systems announced today that it has received new orders totaling approximately $3.1 million. The largest of these orders, valued at $1.5 million, is for a rolling mill ventilation system. The remainder of the orders come from the ethanol, glass, and automotive industries.

Rick Blum, President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, "The largest order was received by our Busch International subsidiary. They are the premier providers of rolling mill ventilation equipment in the world. The fabrication of the equipment will be done by our Kirk & Blum subsidiary. We are also pleased to note that one of our larger orders this month was for energy management work. We see this as a growing field."

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and CEO of CECO stated, "Bookings through June stand at $70 million. This is a $31 million increase over bookings at this time last year."
