CECO ENVIRONMENTAL ANNOUNCES
APPROXIMATELY $4.2 MILLION IN NEW ORDERS
NEW YORK, April 25, 2006 - CECO
Environmental Corp. (NASDAQ: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution
control and industrial ventilation systems announced today that it has secured
approximately $4.2 million in new orders. One, valued at approximately $1.7
million, is for dust collection equipment for a melting equipment manufacturer.
Another, valued at approximately $550,000, is for a gypsum manufacturing facility.
CECO's new H.M. White subsidiary secured two orders totaling approximately
$600,000 for energy management work and ventilation equipment at automotive
facilities. The others, totaling $1.35 million, go onto the automotive, food
processing, glass, printing, ethanol, building materials, and pharmaceutical
industries.
Rick Blum, President and Chief Operating Officer, stated, "The largest order
was secured by our Kirk & Blum subsidiary after initial studies and design work
done by our kbd/Technic subsidiary. It is an example of our ability to solve
customer's environmental problems from initial studies all the way to a turn-key
solution."
