CECO ENVIRONMENTAL INDIA SUBSIDIARY RECEIVES $440,000 ORDER

NEW YORK, December 15, 2005 - CECO Environmental Corp. (NASDAQ: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial ventilation systems announced today that it's CECO Filters India subsidiary has received an order for fiber bed filters totaling approximately $440,000.00. The filters will be shipped to a customer in India.

Phillip DeZwirek, Chairman and CEO, stated, "This India order combined with our recently announced China order continues to confirm CECO's inroads into international markets. CECO's bookings continue to be strong, as of today they are in excess of $5 million for the month of December."
