The Busch PCR-90 Vapor Adsorption
Unit is the practical solution
to the problem of creating optimum
ambient conditions for sophisticated
electronic and electrical equipment.
The PCR-90 incorporates cooling,
heating, dehumidification and many
other critical environment control
capabilities.
User benefits include protected
circuitry, reduced airborne contaminants,
extended service from instrumentation,
decreased maintenance, and reduction
of system failures.
Drawing
on Busch Internationalís
expertise in particulate and gaseous
filtration, the PCR-90 provides
superior efficiency in reducing
the severe corrosive effects of
contaminants such as sulphur and
chlorine compounds. The Unit utilizes
a deep bed of carbon granules which
are factory-treated by a process
which permits contaminant-removal
capacity to be estimated with extreme
accuracy. This assures cost-effective
Unit size and optimization of bed
depth.
An integral ìgas bypass
indicator bedî monitors the
full face area of the deep-bed
activated carbon section. A contaminated
gas stream changes the color of
the monitoring bed. This provides
a visual means of checking for
gas bleed-through or bypass of
the bed.
Busch International has many
years of experience in designing
ultra-high efficiency air filtration
systems. This experience has been
applied to the PCR-90 to extend
the life of the adsorbent bed by
removing clogging particulate from
the entering airstream. High efficiency
air filters are also used for the
air exiting the Unit to protect
against any particles which might
be discharged from the adsorbent
bed.
PCR-90ís are completely
factory assembled, wired, and tested
before shipment. Accessories including
heating/cooling coils, economizer
control systems, and humidifiers
are factory installed. Wiring of
starters, disconnect switches,
relays and temperature controls
will be installed in fully-pressurized
enclosures in accordance with purchaserís
specific electrical standards.
The
gas reactor module is constructed
of 316 stainless steel, fiberglass
reinforced plastic, or aluminum
- according to the purchaserís
preference. The base is constructed
of all welded heavy-duty structural
steel members, coated to resist
corrosion. |
