Extended-surface
Ambient Air Filtration Unit
The
Busch International MRV-81 provides
an ultra-clean environment for
appliucations motor rooms, control
rooms, substations, transformer
vaults, pump rooms, and laboratories.
MRV-81ís are shipped completely
assembled, factory tested, and
ready for single connection to
a main power source. Start-up is
quicker and maintenance is simplified.
MRV-81, with extended-surface
filtration, is a state-of-the-art
design that uses a single stage
of long-life, high efficiency fabric
filtration cartridges. These cartridges
are cleaned periodically by pulsations
of compressed air.
After 400 to 600 hours of operation,
a cleaning cycle, using short,
compressed air pulsations, is initiated.
This permits minimum maintenance
throughout the life of the extended-surface
tubes. Pulsations can be automatically
initiated when pressure drop exceeds
a predetermined level, or manually
activated at convenient intervals.
MRV-81 has superior efficiency
when compared with other replaceable-media
ambient air filtration systems.
Standard efficiency is 99% on particles
2 microns and above; 90% on 0.5
to 1 micron. This efficiency is
especially significant in environments
with corrosive gas-laden particles.
In these instances, the MRV-81
substantially reduces deterioration
of the equipment being ventilated.
MRV-81ís are completely
factory assembled/wired/tested
before shipment. Units up to 80,000
scfm are one-piece construction;
larger units may be shipped in
two pieces. Virtually any accessories
can be added, including heating/cooling
coils, economizer control systems,
evaporative coolers, humidifiers,
and gas adsorbers. Wiring of temperature
control system, starters, disconnect
switches, and relays will be done
in accordance with purchaserís
specific electrical standards.
The design incorporates a steel
base, steel plate floor and rugged
wall sections with closely spaced
structural reinforcement. Centrifugal
fans are of backwardly curved,
power-limiting design. |
