Self-Cleaning
Air Handling Unit
The BUSCH MRV-80 is an industrial-grade,
packaged air-handling Unit that
uses long-life, high efficiency,
fabric filtration tubes which are
cleaned periodically by pulses
of compressed air. The design of
this equipment eliminates the frequent,
costly change-outs of filter media
associated with conventional designs
using panel or cartridge filters.
The Unit is designed to store collected
dust for a year or more, depending
on inlet dust loading.
Significant cost savings over
field-assembled Units are realized
because the MRV-80 is shipped pre-assembled,
wired and factory tested, ready
for connection to main power. This
rugged Unit provides a lean environment
for motor rooms, control rooms,
sub-stations, transformer vaults,
pump rooms and other industrial
process and control areas.
The MRV-80
is custom designed to meet most
site requirements. Capacity,
Unit arrangement and dimensions,
number of filters, location and
size of duct connections, materials
of construction and wiring can
be modified to meet individual
user specifications. Unit pre-assembly
assures simplified installation
and proper operation.
Construction
of the MRV-80 includes a structural
base, steel plate floor, heavy
gauge welded housing panels using
a unique ìformed
I-beamî technique and heavy
duty door hardware. Centrifugal
fans are minimum Class II construction
and are a backwardly inclined,
power limiting design. Direct driven
fans which eliminate belt maintenance
can be furnished. Electrical enclosures
are NEMA-12 with wiring in rigid
conduit. Optional electrical enclosures
are available to suit plant standards. |
