Designed
specifically for each unique rolling
mill applications, the BUSCH FUME-SHIELD
and Jet-Wall Hoods work to provide
a highly efficient Capture system.
A computerized selection of optimum
exhaust flow volumes allows for
the highest possible capture efficiency.
Conveying
liquid particulate requires unique
designs. Expertise and experience
in welding requirements, gasket
materials and duct arrangements are
provided. Components such as dampers
and fans are custom-designed for
liquid coolant service to insure
proper operation and low maintenance.
Other available accessories include
isolation dampers for use with fire
protection systems, pressure equalizing
dampers, quick removal duct sections
and ports for emission testing.
Cleaning
fume-laden air requires careful
analysis to select the most appropriate
equipment. Our wide variety of technologies
offer emissions control of both
particulate and vapor phases of up
to 95% efficiency for your rolling
mill operation. With more than 20
years of solving the most challenging

has many different types of technologies
available.
Design and Construction
BUSCH FUME-SHIELD exhaust systems
utilize heavy gauge, all welded construction.
Systems are available in carbon steel,
stainless steel and aluminum as dictated
by the application. System aerodynamic
analysis and modeling are often used
to enhance the collection of particulate
and fume in the hoods and to reduce
pressure drop within the duct system.
Fans are designed specifically for
liquid particulate-laden gas streams
and are normally direct drive. Components
of the system are modified to enhance
collection and minimize maintenance.
Materials are carefully selected
to be compatible with specific contaminants,
additives and coolants.
