Fabric Dust
Collectors
CECOaire offers one of the most
advanced fabric filter dust collectors
of its type. This system optimizes
sizing, component selection and
low pressure drop for greater energy
savings.The dust laden airstream
enters the housing through a baffled
inlet. The actual position and
style are designed depending on
the type and concentration of dust.
The baffle will cause the heavier
particles to fall into the hopper
while the lighter particles are
evenly distributed through the
collector.As the air passes through
the filter bags, the dust is collected
on the outside. The clean air travels
up through the inside of the bags
to the clean air plenum before
exiting the collector.
Removal of dust from the hopper
is achieved by using any of the
following systems: Rotary valve.
Double dump valve. Slide gate.
Screw conveyor system. Barrel top
adaptor and 55 gal drum.

remove dust periodically from the
filter bags:

Cartridge Dust
Collectors Series HC and VC
The CECOaire Series HC and VC dust
collectors are fully-automated
pulse-jet cleaned pleated-cartridge
filters designed to handle difficult
applications in a wide variety
of industries. The Series HC design
incorporates horizontally mounted
filter cartridges and the Series
VC design incorporates vertically
mounted filter cartridges.
Air enters
the dust collector through a
flanged inlet on the top side and
an interior baffle distributes
the air evenly to the filter cartridges.
Clean air exits the collector through
the bottom rear of the housing.The
dust is dislodged periodically
from the filters by pulses of
compressed air allowing it to settle
into the hopper.
The Series
VC with vertical filter pleats
allows for easier removal of some
dusts. Removal and installation
of the filter cartridges is done
from the outside of the collector
housing. Maintenance personnel
do not require special tools and
do not need to enter the collector
housing.
