Series DDPC
The Series DDPC Downdraft Benches
are designed to capture smoke and
dust generated by welding, grinding,
polishing, soldering and other industrial
operations. The downdraft action
of the bench keeps the smoke and
dust contained and prevents it from
entering the plant ventilation system.
Air is dawn downward into the bench
using an internal fan. The bottom
of the bench is a drop-out chamber
for the heavy particles. The lighter
particles are removed from the airstream
by high efficiency cartridge filters.
These filters are cleaned using pulses
of compressed air periodically. The
dislodged dust falls into the bottom
of the bench where it is easily removed
through access doors.
The end user needs to supply only
compressed air (90-100 psi) and electrical
power for the factory installed clean
cycle controls and blower.The bench
is shipped factory assembled and
ready for installation.
